  1. The UDOIT Cloud Accessibility Checker will scan course content to identify "errors" and provide "suggestions" in the following areas of your course:
    1. Announcements
    2. Assignments
    3. Discussions
    4. Pages
    5. Syllabus
    6. Module URLs
  2. Then it will check content for the appropriate use of:
    1. Headings
    2. Alt text for images
    3. Table headers
    4. Color contrast
    5. Video captions
  3. Reports of findings include universal design best practices. 

Note

The Accessibility Checker (UDOIT) does not currently scan external files and videos, such as Word, PowerPoints, Excel, and Kaltura videos. See Kaltura FAQ for more information.

Please note that Clemson's left navigation menu in Canvas is setup differently than UNC Charlotte's. UDOIT is the name of the left hand menu item at Clemson, while at UNC Charlotte the left hand menu item is named Accessibility Checker (but takes you to UDOIT).
