Google has announced that the following premium Meet features will be enabled until January 10, 2022 - see this FAQ for standard Meet limits and functionality
- Larger meetings, for up to 250 participants per call
- Live streaming for up to 100,000 viewers within a domain
- The ability to record meetings and save them to Google Drive
- Login to meet.google.com
- Join or start a meeting
- Once in a meeting, click the More Options menu
- Click Record Meeting
- Click Accept on the Ask for consent prompt
- Recording will start - a Recording icon will show in the top right
- To stop recording, click in the More Options menu (step #3) and click Stop Recording
- Click Stop Recording on the Stop recording this meeting? prompt
