How does a student or faculty/staff member access and install Microsoft Office software on their personal computer?

Tell Me

1. Go to Office.com/GetOffice365 
2. In the Get Office 365 for free box, enter your UNC Charlotte email address
   
3. Click Get started
4. On the next screen, if you are a student, click I'm a student; If you are a faculty/staff member, click I'm a teacher
   
   
5. Click Sign in
   
6. Enter your NinerNET password and click Sign in
   
7. Click Start
   
   
8. Click Skip
   
   
9. Click the Install Office 2019 button in the upper right
   
10. When the download is complete, open the file to install Office 2019.
11. The first time you open an Office application (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), sign in with your UNC Charlotte email address and password to activate your license
