Not all machines are managed by OneIT e.g. HRL, ENGR and CCI - check with your college/department if you are not sure.


In January 2018, OneIT started providing third-party patching for OneIT managed Windows machines. This service is currently not available for Apple devices; however, OneIT does patch Office, browsers, and Adobe products for OneIT Managed Macs. In order to receive patches and updates, the university computer must be connected to the university network or through VPN.

  1. Like operating systems, applications need to be updated on a regular basis in order to reduce security vulnerabilities.  This process is called third-party patching.
