Add/Remove Contact GroupAdd ContactRemove Contact
  1. Open Jabber on your computer
  2. Click on the gear icon in the top right
  3. Select File > New > Group
  4. Type the name of the new group and click Create
  5. To remove a group, right-click on the group and select Remove
  6. Click Remove when prompted to confirm your selection
  1. Open Jabber on your computer
  2. Click on the gear icon in the top right
  3. Select File > New > Contact
  4. Enter the name of the person you wish to add; results will display below based on the University directory. Select the person and then choose which group to add them to (if you have contact groups created) or you can click the New group button
  5. Click Add when finished
  6. Repeat the process for all contacts you wish to add to your Jabber account
  1. Open Jabber on your computer
  2. Right-click on the contact you wish to delete. Select Remove
  3. Click Remove when prompted to confirm choice

Mobile Device

All contacts and groups added to Jabber will also display in the Jabber app on your mobile device
