Statuses change as requests are reviewed and projects kick off.

  • Request Statuses: The Division Executive Steering Committee member partnering with the Executive Director is responsible for updating these statuses.

    • Submitted: a new request has been entered into IT Project Portal

    • Division Review: initial review by the Division’s Executive Steering Committee member

    • OneIT Review: ensures that requests meet basic needs such as available funding, resources, and technical viability

    • Approved: the project request becomes a project; planning will begin once resources are available

    • Denied: the request has been denied by the Division

  • Project Statuses: The project manager is responsible for updating project statuses for approved projects.

    • Planning: key planning resources are developed, such as a charter, scope definition, and budget planning

    • Execution: project team members conduct activities according to the project plan

    • Monitoring: post-go-live review, validation, or clean-up

    • Completed: the project has been completed

    • Hold: the project is on hold pending resources or changes in scope

    • Canceled: the project has been canceled

    • Denied: the project has been denied after assessments have been completed
