If you have the Dropbox Sync App installed, you can use the Smart Sync

  1. Click the Dropbox icon on the task bar along the bottom right of your computer screen
  2. Click on the folder icon to open the explorer window; if you have accounts linked you will need to choose Open UNC Charlotte folder
  3. Right-click on any file or folder to select the Smart Sync option

  4. You can select if the file/folder should be stored locally on your computer or online

  5. You can see the status of any file/folder by the checkmark or cloud icons to the right of the file/folder name

Both the Dropbox Smart Sync and Selective Sync options are specific to the device. Dropbox does not remember your chosen settings if you have the Dropbox Sync App installed on multiple devices. You will need to setup the sync options on each device.
