Tell Me

Employee timesheets can be manually updated by completing the following steps:

Nonexempt EmployeeExempt Employee
  1. Go to the timesheet of the employee following the path My Team > Timesheets > By Pay Period.
  2. Verify the correct timesheet period dates (top right, use the arrows to navigate).
  3. Click on the pencil icon to open the the timesheet. Pencil icon
  4. Click on the Timesheet / Time Entry tab.
  5. Go down to the row of the date that needs to be edited.
  1. Go the timesheet of the employee following the path My Team > Employee Information
  2. Click the quick link icon next to the employee name. Quick Links icon
  3. Select "Current Timesheet".
  4. Use the arrows at the top to navigate to the correct timesheet period.
  5. Click on the Timesheet / Time Entry tab.
  6. Go down to the row of the date that needs to be edited.


Manual Edit Types

To ADD a PunchTo REMOVE a PunchTo MODIFY a Punch
  1. Click in the box that needs to be edited (From/To columns).
  2. Type the punch time in the empty box (am/pm).
  3. Click SAVE at the top.
  4. Add a comment if prompted.
  5. Click OK.
  1. Click in the box that needs to be removed (From/To columns).
  2. Press delete.
  3. Click SAVE at the top.
  4. Add a comment if prompted.
  5. Click OK.
  1. Click in the box that needs to be edited (From/To columns).
  2. Press delete.
  3. Type the new punch time in the box (am/pm).
  4. Click SAVE at the top.
  5. Add a comment if prompted.
  6. Click OK.
To ADD Time OffTo MODIFY Time OffTo REMOVE Time Off
  1. Go to the Time Off column.
  2. Click on either:
    1. the magnifying glass to open look up menu Magnifying Glass icon (classic view) OR
    2. the drop down arrow and select "browse" (New Look)
  3. Click the flag Flag iconor circle Circle iconto select the leave type. 
  4. Type the number of hours needed in the Raw Total column.
  5. Click SAVE at the top.
  6. Add a comment if prompted.
  7. Click OK.

To modify leave type:

  1. Go to the Time Off column.
  2. Click on either:
    1. the magnifying glass to open look up menu Magnifying Glass icon (classic view) OR
    2. the drop down arrow and select "browse" (New Look)
  3. Click the flag Flag iconor circle Circle iconto select the new leave type. 
  4. Click SAVE at the top.
  5. Add a comment if prompted.
  6. Click OK.

To modify hours:

  1. Go to the Raw Total column.
  2. Click in box and type the number of hours needed.
  3. Click SAVE at the top.
  4. Add a comment if prompted.
  5. Click OK.


  1. Depending on your view click either:
    1. the to the far left of the row (classic view) OR
    2. the trash can to the far right (New Look) Trash Can icon
  2. Click SAVE at the top.
  3. Add a comment if prompted. 
  4. Click OK.
