The Charlotte Research Institute (CRI) serves as the portal through which industry and government partnerships are transacted on behalf of UNC Charlotte.  As part of its many responsibilities, CRI transacts space licenses with interested industry and government partners.  CRI manages over 100,000 square feet of premium office and laboratory space on the UNC Charlotte campus.  The following space licensing options are immediately available to business and government partners:

  1. Wet and dry laboratory facilities with or without support office space
  2. Secure classified research facilities
  3. Office space within the UNC Charlotte business incubator
  4. Premium office space in the PORTAL industry-university partnership building
