This option should only be used if you don't have the ability to use a mobile device.
Faculty/Staff: OneIT, through the NinerTech Store, will provide the first fob for full-time and part-time University employees (not student employees) for free - replacement fobs MUST be purchased by departments or individuals. You are not eligible for a fob if you receive an MCD allowance.
Students: You can purchase a fob at the NinerTech Store.
U2F token authentication only works in the Chrome and Opera browser.

To get a fob, stop by the NinerTech Store in the Student Union

The Yubikey 5C is available in USB-A and USB-C models (Can be used with other browsers, but requires additional configuration by OneIT)
Costs range from $18 - $50 depending on key type
Fobs should be configured for only one account and should not be shared
Fobs can be purchased individually from other sources3rd party vendors
1. Duo supports third-party hardware tokens, such as YubiKeys or any OATH HOTP-compatible tokens
2. No special drivers required; all that is needed is a supported web browser, operating system and a U2F device
