1. The tuition waiver program is available to eligible faculty and staff, not students. 
2. If you apply for admission to a UNC system school other than UNC Charlotte, contact that school’s Admissions Office to inquire about having the admissions fee waived. 
3. To waive your UNC Charlotte application fee (for Undergraduate or Readmit students):
   1. While completing your application for admission to UNC Charlotte, you will encounter two important questions:  Respond “Yes” to the application question  “Are you or your parent a UNC Charlotte employee? Then, Provide Employee ID number (800#) when prompted
   2. When you click the Finalize and Pay button at the end of the application, your fee will be automatically waived.
4. Questions about this process should be directed to the appropriate admissions office.
