1. Go to OfficePortal.Office365.com/GetOffice365 In the Get Office 365 for free box, enter
2. Enter your UNC Charlotte email address

4. On the next screen, if you are a student, click I'm a student; If you are a faculty/staff member, click I'm a teacher

5. Click Sign in

6. Enter your NinerNET password and click Sign inIn

8. Click Skip

10. You will be redirected to the Office 365 Dashboard, click the Install Office 2016button in the upper right

11. When the download is complete, open the file to install Office 2016365.
12. The first time you open an Office application (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), sign in with your UNC Charlotte email address and password to activate your license
13. After authenticating and activating your license, if prompted to "Allow my organization to manage my device" select "No, sign in to this app only."
